Some Audio from the Sixties

Gerry Wilkinson was digging through a bunch of old tapes and found a couple air checks. While the quality is not up to broadcast standards, it is the only copy available.

Working on New Year's Day in 1966, Bob Donze, who was WRTI-FM Station Manager at the time, does the news on country station, WEEZ in Chester, Pa. A few weeks later, Bob was again airchecked doing the WEEZ Vietnam Serviceman of the Day.

Next is former WRTI-AM exec Jim Putz. It's five minutes before 1 am on Tuesday morning, September 9, 1969 and Jim is doing the news on WXUR-FM, Media, Pa.
