Photo 2 - 1967 Yearbook Photo

The yearbook mistakenly referred to Marlene as the station's Production Producer (whatever that is).

Here's Four More Glamour Photos

Marlene (it seems) could always be found sitting that old standard typewriter near the mail boxes. Gerry Wilkinson saw Marlene in 1970 or 1971 when she was appearing on a WDAS public affairs program. At that time, she was married to Al Maslin.

In an e-mail from Al Maslin to Gerry Wilkinson.... Marlene Patrick and I were married in 1967 and were divorced about 11 years later. She remarried several years later and is now divorced again. She is now living in Cheltenham and is using her maiden name.

In an e-mail from Mike Biel to Gerry Wilkinson....I looked at those pictures of Marlene and she really looks great in them. Compare them with the shot of her in the Spring 1964 picture. When I saw the picture of her with the two unknown guys my first reaction was that it was Bill Stock on the right of the picture. But when I clicked on it and enlarged it, it became obvious that it is not Quietly Proud Billy. I do think the guy's name is Larry. Larry Kaye comes to mind. Does it ring any bells? Of course we would also be wondering who Marlene is making those Goo-Goo-Googelie-Eyes at on the left side of the picture. Was that picture taken in Studio D, or did they take a 44-BX out to the traffic table which was right outside Studio D? That looks like the mailboxes in the background, but there was a window in D that looked out towards there. That probably is the Studio D mic since it has so many dents in it. It probably also was the source of Mike Muderick's mic flag. I don't seem to recall there being any "extra" mic flags around . . . . And Mike always did have a small screwdriver in his shirt pocket . . . . Hmmmmmmmmmm . . .

In an e-mail from Marlene Patrick to Gerry Wilkinson.... LOVE THE SITE!!!!!

WERE WE EVER THAT YOUNG???

To update you all -- yes Al and I divorced in 1981. Gerry seems to think we have the oldest children -- our daughter Debbie will be 28 in February, 1998, and our son Stephen will be 25 in June. Both are married -- no grandchildren yet. Al and I can wait -- thank you.

I taught in the Philadelphia school system before Debbie was born; have done tons of volunteer work over the years. Got involved with computers in 1981 and have gone from junior programmer to project manager since then. I am currently a consultant with the McKinley Group on assignment at Lenox China in Langhorne, installing manufacturing and financial systems.

I remarried in 1984 and divorced in 1995. From the second marriage I have two stepchildren, 21 & 18, with whom I have frequent contact. My name went from Patrick to Maslin to Pollock. When my second husband left, I went back to the maiden name figuring I was born with it, so I might as well die with it.

Both my parents are still around and still living on Brighton Street in Northeast Philly.

I live in a great house in Cheltenham, love to travel, learned to scuba dive at the ripe old age of 45.

Just turned 51 last month -- remember those two pictures on my site being taken but I'll be damned if I remember who's in that one picture with me.

My house is large enough for a reunion -- would love to work with someone to get one going.

E-mail me -- I would love to hear from all of you.

What about Gary Aptaker? Our resident cab driver????

In an e-mail from Marlene Patrick to Gerry Wilkinson.... I spent WAY too long on the site Monday night and discovered the real truth about Gary Aptaker.

My kids call us "oldtimers".

Thanks for loading my stuff up so quickly. I forgot to mention my longtime activity in local community theater.

I had some glamour shots taken about a year ago. I'll see if my son can scan one in and send it to you.

I need to get some sleep -- but the site is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO addictive.

Thanks again for all your hard work.

Marlene

In an e-mail from Marlene Patrick to Gerry Wilkinson.... Remember when Charlton Heston came to Thomas Hall?

I remember that election night coverage but forgot that SB threatened to take her clothes off.

This page is ADDICTIVE!!!!!!

In an e-mail from Marlene Patrick to Gerry Wilkinson.... I was showing my boyfriend the site yesterday and looked at the pictures from lunch on Friday. Would have been fun -- sorry I missed it.

Hope Mike Muderick puts together another Howdy Doody party.

Had a long talk with Sharon Waldman and she loves the site. Al and I took our daughter and son and their respective spouses out for dinner last Sunday since it was our daughter's 28th birthday.... Thanks for the site -- it's renewed some fun memories -- had a great e-mail from Ron Wertheimer and my quietly proud friend Bill Stock who said I "growed up" good. I have a REALLY hard time believing I'm 51.... I wouldn't say we are living in the past -- just that we have a great appreciation for those golden days that we can't recapture.

Here's an e-mail from Marlene Patrick: "Here is some news (saw Kenn's headline about becoming a grandfather) -- Alan (Maslin) and I will be grandparents for the first time at the end of July -- our daughter Debbie and son-in-law Matt shared the good news on Thanksgiving weekend."

An e-mail from Marlene Patrick, dated August 1, 1999 states:
Just a quick note to let you know that Al and I became grandparents on Monday, July 26. Larissa Rose Conard was born at 11:49 a.m. weighing 7 lb. 12 oz; 20 1/2" long, dark eyes and auburn hair.

She arrived on her due date -- must be that Communications background -- and is healthy and beautiful.
