On the extreme left is Thomas Hall.

The first row house on the left (the one still standing) is the corner property, 2000 North Park Avenue at the corner of Park and Norris.

The second lot (showing some rubble) is 2002 North Park Avenue.

The third lot (cleared and where the lady is walking) is 2004 North Park Avenue. What's interesting about this property is that on this site is where Dr. Russell Conwell's first home once sat. He lived there from his arrival in Philadelphia in 1882 until 1892. It was in this house that the very first Temple classes were ever held. Temple University destroyed this heritage over 40 years ago to build Peabody Hall.

Park Avenue at this time (Spring 1956) was still a city street.
