WRTI Reunion
We had a WRTI Reunion in the form of a BAR-B-Q, Sunday, May 24, 1998 at the home of Marlene Patrick. Everyone had brushed up on their WRTI skills. We produced a short PLAYHOUSE 90.1 radio drama on video tape for uploading on to our site. It was produced as a live event (no edits). We had actors/actresses, sound people, etc. As with the old Playhouse 90.1 shows from 30 years ago, it was produced by Gerry Wilkinson and directed by Jerry Klein (JK didn't direct all of them, but did do quite a few). The script entitled, "QUESTING FOR CAMELOT," was written by Gerry Wilkinson from an idea suggested by Jerry Klein and developed by Gerry and his youngest daughter, Zara.

Who was there:: Frank Beasley Here's an e-mail that Gerry Wilkinson received from Dr. Kenneth Harwood, former Dean of Temple's School of Communications and Theater.... Plans made a month ago put me in North Cascades National Park, in central Washington state, on Sunday as part of a holiday weekend of hikes and bird-watching. Perhaps I'll be able to join your next reunion. Meanwhile I'll be visiting your website and keeping in touch by e-mail or otherwise. Warm greetings to each alum, and to Professors Roberts, Seibel, Dusenbury, Klein, and Gray. My wife, Shirley, and I had the pleasure of a dinner with Lou and Janet Klein in Las Vegas in April, during the meetings of the Broadcast Education Association and the National Association of Broadcasters.
