The Syracuse University web site showed Sheryl teaching at least one course including:
RTN 500, section 2, Prof. Sheryl Nathans, Reference #98825

Politics and the Media
Sheryl Nathans, WTVH-TV investigative and political reporter, teaches this course which deals with the local broadcast media and their dealings with the political process. It is a no-holds-barred, down and dirty, close-up look at how the political process has evolved in the television age. It deals with carefully constructed "images," ten-second soundbites, the value of money in politics, and how television's x-ray effect has created a new breed of politician. Open to broadcast journalism juniors, seniors, and graduate students. Prerequisite: RTN 364 or RTN 663.

Sheryl was also involved with the Daily Planet newspaper in the early seventies.

We received an e-mail from Kenn Venit about Sheryl Nathans. She has cancer. Read his e-mail.
