Sitting here at 4 pm on Tuesday, August 18. We are scheduled to tape some pledge breaks for insertion into kids programming and we are in a holding pattern. Bob Cirillo was running camera for us all last week and Ed Cunningham (who no longer produces the fundraiser but moved to history program production) and myself have being having a great time. We use Ed for talent. Well, we do have standards. I'll let you figure out where they are. Anyhow, last night we had Sarah Brightman live in our studios and we invited the WHYY fellows (people who donate at least $1,000). Who showe up but Wayne Spilove, chairman of the Philadelphia Historical Commission. He told me some interesting things about the demolition of Thomas Hall which I do not want to post on the site. Remind me to fill you in at the next reunion. Interesting!!!!!
