Lunch with Ed-a-fonic Ed, Grand Fran and the Water Buffalo

Well, yesterday about 1pm, Fran Odyniec came down to WHYY and have lunch with Ed Cunningham and Gerry Wilkinson.

Ed, nicknamed Ed-a-fonic Ed by Jerry Blavat (seriously) remarked how we used to call Fran, Grand Fran. And I said that Fran used to call himself Grand Fran.

We lunched at "Eat at Joe's" in the Gallery at Ed-a-fonic's request.

When Ed was still producing the fundraiser, Blavat was in one night as a guest. Beside calling Cunningham, Ed-a-fonic Ed, he also said, "Eddie, you're my main man." A minute later, I came in and Blavat (who remembered me from WDAS) said, "Gerry, my main man." And Ed said, "I thought I was your main man."

Well, anyhow we had a great time.
