I've finally advanced from my trusty 286 Hyundai computer (bet you didn't know they made 'em), and gotten my very own e-mail address. It's aabakings@aol.com.
I'd love to here from some of the old guard. It's a bit lonely out here in New Mexico, but it's also quite fun. I'm Director of Operations for four TV stations (two here in Albuquerque, one in Durango, Colorado, and one in Roswell (yes, that Roswell, and yes, the mother ship never left...it's a weird, weird place).
After working in TV all over the country (L.A., Boston, Cincinnati, Lancaster PA, Burlington VT, Fort Myers FL, New Jersey Public TV in Trenton, and several of the Philly stations including the old WKBS), managing an AM/FM combo in Juneau Alaska, and owning my own little radio station in Red Lodge Montana, I'm hoping to finally settle in someplace. It might not be Albuquerque, but you never know.
Anyway, I hope all is well with you who may stumble across this note, and I'd love to hear from you.
